Primary Education

Our Primary classes held a very special place in the school: girls from six to ten years of age can be seen enjoying every aspect of school life in a busy, exciting and purposeful atmosphere.

We try to create an enjoyable atmosphere and above all a happy place to learn.

In grades 1 to 5, we teach a curriculum that reflects the National Curriculum in Sri Lanka while enriching all subjects with stretch and challenge aspects designed to enable girls to reach their full potential.

According to the National Curriculum all the students are expected to achieve a list of essential al learning competencies. Besides, there are also desirable learning competencies for those gifted children.

Our girls are taught by their class teacher for most subjects. Teachers in charge of aesthetic subjects, physical education work in collaboration with primary teachers in organizing their learning teaching activities.
